Everything old is new again. Last year The Strip District welcomed the return of Zerrer’s Antiques at 2703 Penn Avenue. Described as “an eclectic blend of furniture, smalls, artwork, glassware, decorative items and architectural pieces,” Zerrer’s is sure to have something special for your loft or apartment. Vintage tin signs? They’ve got ‘em. Old postcards? You’ll find them here. How about an antique Victrola for playing those 78s? Not a problem. Stop in to meet John and Marla Zerrer. They will help you find the unusual and unique.
While you’re there, check out the works and works in progress of artist Michael Lotenero. Michael’s studio is in the forward space of this 19th Century storefront. Huge paintings adorn the walls and line the floors. Time it right, and you may get to see Lotenero at work.
